Water forget-me-not (white) (Myosotis scorpioides ‘Alba’)

Myosotis scorpiodies ‘alba’, the white water forget-me-not, is a lovely creeping British native plant producing dainty white flowers from May right through to October.  They are very good for covering the edges of the pond and will raft across the water.  Really good for wildlife, it is loved by finches for the small seeds while bees and butterflies are attracted by its nectar.  Also a particular favourite of newts as they like to lay their eggs in the folded leaves.  It grows well in sun or shade and is less vigorous with smaller leaves than the blue water forget-me-not.Myosotis: Mouse ear referring to the shape of the leavesHeight: 10-20cmPlanting position: Marginal plant up to 10cmForm: 1 litre in an aquatic basket -please select size belowRecommended basket size min./ideal: 1 litre square/2 litre round(Recommended basket sizes are for potting up 9cm (0.5 litre) plants only as these are supplied in solid pots.  Larger sized plants are already in aquatic baskets so can go straight in the pond, however they may need potting up or splitting at some point)
