Tourmaline Rose Ring, Vintage Silver Steel Tony Kean

Product DescriptionThis tourmaline rose statement ring is beautifully balanced. The bloom is open and the lush rose petals are shown in bright silver steel. The delicate shade of petal pink in the center is a round brilliant cut tourmaline.  The stone is secured with subtle sculpting of the rose petals. The band is a joined pair of rose vines, finished with a pair of leaves on either side of the rose.  This design is an early one by Australian goldsmith Tony Kean.This tourmaline rose ring is size 8.  The design measures 25 mm from top to bottom and 20 mm across, parallel to the band. Like many of Kean’s early designs, this ring is stainless steel, weighing in at 12 grams.   It is signed with Kean’s name etched in the inside of the band. This places the date of the design between 1979 and 1988.
