ABS Rim Cylinders British Standard

The Avocet ABS British Standard Rim Cylinder is a high security rim cylinder option designed to work with most nightlatches. This product has proved very popular with those wishing to ensure maximum protection from manipulation and destructive entry attacks on the keyway itself. Designed to compliment Avocets range of ABS euro profile cylinders, this rim cylinder features some advanced internal components aimed at preventing the use of drills, picks and other tools to gain entry. The cylinder itself is extremely well built and is offered in attractive polished finishes. Designed to replace most common types of rim cylinders, this cylinder can be used to upgrade an existing nightlatch by just replacing the external element. Please note however brands such as Ingersoll, Abloy and Chubb branded locks will require a slight modification to the door, or conversion kit, to accept the ABS cylinder. The cylinder is anti pick, anti bump, anti drill and is supplied with 3 robust dimple type security keys. The keys are provided on a code card and duplication of keys is restricted to card holders who must provide to code to obtain additional keys at authorised ABS centres. This helps protect against unauthorised key duplication further increasing the control the owner has over the amount of keys in circulation, and as a result the security of the property.
