While the initial values of Jamaica’s first stamp issue (1d, 2d, 4d, 6d, and 1s) were released in 1860, the 3d Green value was introduced later, in 1863, to fulfill a new rate. Key Technical Specifications Monarch: Queen Victoria (laureated “Wyon Head” profile). Denomination: 3d (Three Pence). Color: Green / Pale Green. Watermark: Pineapple (the characteristic watermark of Jamaica’s earliest issues before switching to the Crown CC watermark in the 1870s). Perforation: 14.
